Meals on Wheels Community Service delivers hot nutritious meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals ensuring they have proper nutrition while checking on their wellbeing daily. Our volunteers deliver meals to four hundred people daily providing not just food but friendly visits that brighten lonely days. We customize meals accommodating dietary restrictions and cultural preferences. Our drivers are trained to recognize signs of distress reporting concerns to our social workers. We provide weekend meal packages ensuring no one goes hungry when we cannot deliver. We also offer frozen meal options for bad weather days. Our holiday meals include special touches making celebrations meaningful for people who might otherwise be alone. We recruit volunteer drivers from all walks of life creating intergenerational connections that benefit everyone.
