Second Harvest Community Kitchen

Second Harvest Community Kitchen prepares and serves hot meals to anyone in need without questions or requirements. We serve over five hundred meals daily from our community kitchen creating a welcoming space where people can eat with dignity. Our culinary training program teaches cooking skills to unemployed individuals helping them gain employment in food service industries. We cater events using proceeds to subsidize our free meal program. Our volunteers come from all walks of life working together to nourish bodies and souls. We deliver meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals ensuring they receive nutritious food and friendly visits. Our community garden supplies fresh ingredients while teaching urban agriculture skills.
