Stroke Recovery Foundation

Stroke Recovery Foundation supports stroke survivors and their families through rehabilitation, therapy, and community reintegration programs recognizing that recovery continues long after hospital discharge. Our support groups bring together stroke survivors and caregivers providing emotional support and practical advice. We offer speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy at reduced costs or free for uninsured survivors. Our adaptive equipment lending library provides wheelchairs, walkers, and other devices helping people regain independence. We teach caregivers proper techniques for assisting with activities of daily living. Our community education programs teach stroke warning signs and importance of rapid treatment. We fund research into stroke prevention and recovery. We help survivors return to work or find new employment accommodating disabilities.
