United Food Rescue Mission

United Food Rescue Mission operates the largest food rescue program in the region recovering over one million pounds of food annually from restaurants, grocery stores, and caterers. Our refrigerated trucks pickup and deliver rescued food to dozens of partner agencies within hours maintaining food safety and quality. We coordinate with commercial kitchens to prepare rescued ingredients into ready-to-eat meals for homeless shelters and soup kitchens. Our food waste reduction program educates businesses about preventing waste while supporting hunger relief. We track and report our environmental impact showing how food rescue reduces greenhouse gases and conserves resources.
